You might think I am a fake gamer because I honestly prefer to play all of my games on consoles! I mean what can I say, I like showing off my physical game copies! But I am not completely unenlightened! There are a lot of fantastic benefits to playing games on your PC, from early access to games through demos, amazingly cheap sales on steam, or incredible performance! But as a casual gamer who plays mostly local multiplayer games with friends, what really makes me play games on PC are the exclusives! So, we wanted to talk about 5 exclusive games that are either fantastic or fairly cheap for a couple of hours of fun!

The first game on the list is also the one that makes us wonder what is wrong with us, and why our real life kitchen is a mess. Overcooked is one of our all time favorite co-op games! It was even the first game we ever played together! This game is the definition of cooperative! If you want to test the families communication skills, then this will absolutely give you a run for your money! You’ll find yourselves as chefs in all sorts of kitchens, from moving cars to ice islands, preparing food as orders come in one after another. There are so many different tasks to do and delegation to be done. While one person chops onions and cooks burgers, another will be washing dishes and serving food! The game is cute, fun and hectic! It is available on every console. We only wish that we enjoyed cooking and washing dishes this much in real life…

Playing games together is one of our favorite things to do! But, whenever we talk to people about couch co-op games they always mention the same ones, like Overcooked, Sackboy, or Mario. While we love these games, there are tons of other fantastic local multiplayer games that sometimes go unnoticed! So let’s talk about some hidden gems!

It Takes Two has hit the world of split screen games by storm. It is the epitome of what a couch co-op game should be. Follow the story of Cody and May, who on the brink of divorce are transformed into dolls and forced to work together to get back to normal! Enjoy every sort of co-op puzzle you can imagine! In one challenge, one of you throws nails and the other does platforming using those nails. Or, how could we forget becoming a plant while your partner uses your leaves for platforming. It Takes Two is two-player only. It supports online or local splitscreen. The game was designed so that everything must be done as a team. There is no way you could even attempt to play this game alone and it is the most enjoyable co-op game to date.

The very first game on our list is Don’t Starve Together. This game is absolutely fantastic, and will definitely give you that spooky vibe. It is a survival game that drops you into the wilderness and leaves you there to do what you will. The atmosphere is chilling and eerie, while the game's main mechanics revolve around balancing your sanity, hunger and health to stay alive. Letting any of these three stats drop too low can be devastating, as dying will result in the loss of that world. The more you let your sanity dip, the spookier the game gets, especially when it gets too low and nightmare creatures become your constant companions. There is literally so much to do in this game it is insane. There are tons of biomes to explore, a plethora of monsters to fight off, friendly animals to trap for food, farming, foraging, caving, fishing, crafting, boss fights, seasons, and… well, we will let you find out for yourself. Don't Starve Together supports two players locally and four players online. Unfortunately there is no crossplay.

If you have always wanted to punch your friends in the face, but did not want to permanently damage your relationship, then we might just have the game for you. Unspottable took an incredibly simple concept and injected fun into its veins. The game plops you into a top down play area with a couple of friends and loads of AI robots. Your goal is simple: punch your friends to get points. However this is complicated slightly by the fact that the robots and your friends look exactly the same!

Do you remember playing games with your siblings and yelling at them to stop looking at your screen? Well now screen cheating is totally acceptable! In fact, it’s the only way to win! Screencheat is a colorful and lighthearted first person shooter, with a unique twist: everyone is invisible! The game relies on a unique split-screen mechanic that requires you to look at everyone else's screen in order to locate them.

If you are a fan of shooting mass amounts of enemies with friends, then this game is definitely worth looking into. Outriders boasts a beefy campaign and intriguing story, complete with drop-in drop-out co-op up to 3 players.

If you are like us then you probably have kids, brothers, sisters, or heck you might even have some friends, and you have probably found yourselves looking for good games to play together. Maybe you want something new, family friendly, and wholesome. One that is also available on every system, and is even a little cheaper than first party games like Mario. If so, then you'll want to hear about My Singing Monsters Playground!

Playing games on the couch with friends is an age-old tradition. Unfortunately, games that support this feature have been dying out. Right now Fortnite is the only battle royale that supports split screen play. But, is it any good?

Secret Neighbor is finally coming to PS4, iOS, and Nintendo Switch! This game was released in 2019 on the Xbox One and on PC, but it has been a long two years waiting for the game to hit our other consoles. The PS4 version of the game finally became available April 29th. However we will have to wait until summer before we get the Nintendo Switch version of the game. These new releases will support crossplay and will offer up to 6 player online co-op.

If you are a fan of music and like to play games on your smartphone, then chances are you have heard of My Singing Monsters. This franchise is getting its first multiplayer console game, and it honestly looks absolutely fantastic! My Singing Monsters Playground is a brand new local multiplayer game for 1-4 players. The game takes place in the My Singing Monsters world, and brings with it 7 playable monsters from previous games.

Okay, this is getting a little ridiculous. Another platform fighting game was just announced, and we had immediate flashbacks to our Nickelodeon All Stars Brawl announcement from a couple of months ago! But this time things are a little bit different. Multiversus boasts a cast of characters from Warner Brothers. That includes heroes like Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman. But there are also some other fun choices as well such as Shaggy, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny and more! Each of these characters will also have different skins if you don't want to stick to the traditional look.

Okay, this Nintendo Direct, while disappointing for some, what with no Zelda or Metroid prime, was fantastic if you love local multiplayer games! A good 40 percent of the video was spent on games that support local multiplayer.

After 2 and a half years of nothing, Super Mario Party has received an update, greatly improving online gameplay. Previously Super Mario Party only supported online gameplay for 10 minigames, now with this update we have support for board game mode, partner party and 70 of the 80 minigames! This update is something fans have been wanting for years! Overall we are ecstatic for this long awaited feature.

Prepare for a blast from the past in the new Mario Party Superstars. This game features a collection of boards and minigames from the Gamecude and N64 era! Now you can enjoy 5 classic boards from the N64, including Peach’s birthday cake from Mario Party 1, Spaceland from Mario Party 2, and Woody Woods from Mario party 3.

If you have ever dreamed of having big burly shoulders and a flannel shirt, then we have a game for you! Lumberhill is a brand new party co-op game in which you play as a lumberjack striving to complete tasks before time runs out. From chopping trees, building bridges, collecting eggs, or herding sheep you can count on the lumberjacks to get it done!

With support for up to four players, what does Mario Golf Super Rush have in store? In addition to classic Mario Golf that we’re familiar with, the game introduces Speed Golf; a mode in which it is always your turn. Race against upto three of your friends to be the first to finish. Another game mode called Battle Golf is also being introduced! This one is described as Speed Golf but with special rules.

This Nintendo game allows you to build your own games! And it supports upto 8 players! The potential is limitless! With Game Builder Garage anyone can be a game designer.
